HEALING TIMELINE

What to expect during the healing process

Days 1-3

Initial Healing

Your tattoo will be red and slightly swollen. Keep it clean and moisturised. Some plasma and ink may leak - this is normal.

Days 4-7

Scabbing Phase

Light scabs will form. Do not pick! Continue gentle washing and light moisturising. Itching is normal.

Week 2

Peeling Stage

Scabs will start flaking off naturally. The tattoo may look dull. Keep moisturising and let it peel on its own.

Weeks 3-4

Final Healing

Tattoo should be fully healed on the surface. Deep skin layers continue healing. Resume normal activities.
